After a quick breakfast at 6:30, we headed over to the Give Kids the World Village to work in the arcade and help serve breakfast. It was Lina’s birthday (a 12 year old wish kid), so we sang to her, gave her cake, and painted her nails. Before we knew it, breakfast was over, so we headed to the horse riding station in the Village. There, kids got to ride horses around a track and get cool-looking cowboy hats.
Next, we went back to the hotel where we rested and laid out by the pool. Some of us were cooler than others and actually went into the pool. After we dried off we went back to the Village where we operated the Magical Carousel. A 5-year old named Mason especially loved the Merry-Go-Round, having to have his mom drag him away because he was having so much fun. Lastly, before we left, we checked into the Hoppening Place where the kids had the opportunity to show off their skills in Village Idol. Once again, we had a blast and can’t wait to do it again tomorrow!
