This entire Intensive Learning has been an wild adventure. From painting under sea murals to building outdoor classrooms, this Intensive Learning has been a great one. On the inside of the green leaf mansion, the students worked on and completed two different murals. The first mural depicted a lovely outdoor scene that included trees, clouds, Snoopy and his plane, and plenty of vibrant hot air balloons. The second mural was one of a serene underwater coral reef. In this mural, you can find a dolphin, jellyfish, turtles, an octopus, schools of fish, and a gigantic 3-D blue whale. Both of these murals were completed solely by the students.
The other half of the students worked outside on an outdoor classroom. They built 10 benches and an octangular platform for the center of the classroom. The students also began construction on a path that leads to the classroom. Overall, it was a productive week. The freshmen enjoyed their first Intensive Learning experience as Upper Schoolers, and we left happy memories for our departing seniors.
