On Wednesday, the Arts and Entertainment group watched the national touring production of Disney’s Frozen, presented at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia. Before that, though, there was work to do. We spent roughly three hours on campus doing service projects in the auditorium. People worked on cleaning out various parts of the auditorium, including painting the lighting booth, cleaning the seats, and cleaning out various prop closets.
After time spent cleaning, it was time for the performance. We hopped on the bus and took a roughly 30-minute ride to the Academy of Music, which is a part of the Kimmel Center. When we arrived, the audience was already lined up outside to enter. We got our tickets and headed up to the mezzanine to get seated for the performance. The show was marvelous, with incredible lighting design and costume changes, and the performers were immensely talented. After that, we drove back to the school to end the day. We look forward to our final day of Arts and Entertainment!
