Today we learned about Hinduism and Indian Culture. We ventured out to Robbinsville, New Jersey for a divine experience at the Akshardam Arts & Culture Center. On arrival our vision was blessed with the beautifully crafted marble sculptures and designs. Everything was made of marble that was carved by hand in India, and every inch of every wall was carved into a beautiful design. We then took a tour to further hear about the inner beauty of the Mandir, a Hindu temple that won’t be completed until 2020. After the tour we decided to sit in a Hindu ritual. Next we were supposed to come to the restaurant Tiffin to eat authentic Indian cuisines, but unfortunately we were lost and too hungry to look for the right place. So we all decided to have American food instead. When we returned, we felt more educated. Overall, the day was a great experience.
