Today our group took a trip to Newton Lake in Collingswood. We went around the entire lake with large plastic bags and picked up garbage. We also learned about macroinvertebrates which are small bugs. We learned that there are three different kinds of macroinvertebrates, and they are type 1, type 2, and type 3....

March 23, 2015 Today we visited the Heart of Camden and organized the warehouse. After that we cleaned the basketball court by raking and cleaning leaves. Then we took a lunch break while Phil taught us about what they do. The Heart of Camden works around the community to clean up and build houses....

Today SJ Service went to Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown, NJ. We helped them with gardening and organizing for their summer camps.
