Baseball and Service, March 26th

Following a midnight ending in our third game in Myrtle Beach, the Foxes were forced to get off to an early start, as the first pitch of our fourth and final game in South Carolina was at 8:30 in the morning.  Players on both team braved cold temperatures, as the forecast said it was 40 degrees, but everyone agreed that the windchill was much colder than that. The Foxes squared off against the Apple Valley Eagles, a high school just south of Minneapolis, Minnesota.  The game was rather uneventful for the first four innings, as the Eagles maintained a 1-0 lead. Apple Valley put four runs on the board in the fifth, though, and prevented any MFS rally from happening, and ended up winning the game 5-1. Jakob Hull had the lone RBI for the Foxes, and the Foxes pitchers were Jakob Hull, Kyle Eiffes, and Andrew Shah.

After the game, the team once again performed service at the Lowcountry County Food Bank before heading back to Myrtlewood Villas for a few hours to relax.  The team then returned to Broadway at the Beach, where players and coaches went to Dave and Busters, bought clothes, and came together for a team dinner at Johnny Rockets.  After dinner, the team returned to Dave and Busters for another round of games.
