Today was cake day!! Each group started the morning out making the batter for their vanilla cakes. Then, all the cakes went in the oven, but took longer than expected. While waiting for the cakes to bake and cool, we took part in a large group game of Uno! (Who knew Uno could be such an intense game?!)
Next, in the afternoon, we returned to our now-cooled cakes to make some icing. Two groups made buttercream icing, and the other two made sour cream and chocolate icing. Some groups even decorated their cakes with strawberries! That sounds yummy, doesn’t it? Can’t wait to enjoy our wonderful cakes!!!!
