On March 21, 2022, at 9:20 am, we departed from MFS to visit the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. We arrived at 10:00 am for a private tour. Inside, it was very large and spacious. There were different sculptures, paintings, and even a organ, a keyboard instrument connected with pipes, that were played during mass. Then, we met with Charlene Angelini, the director of music at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. She had her partner play the organ, allowing us to hear different tones of sound. We enjoyed hearing it. After an insightful and interesting tour of this cathedral, we departed at noon for lunch in Philly, at Reading Terminal, where we bought our own lunches. There were a variety of foods, including desserts and beverages. At 2:00 pm, we left and headed back to school and talked a little about how our day went and what we found interesting about it. Today was a great day!
