Community Empowerment at the Camden Children’s Garden

March 24,2017

We worked with Jeff and Pedro to ready the garden for opening day on March 25th.

Inspirational words from Jeff — “Every day I tell myself, work hard, enjoy it, and make a difference.”

“This was a hard working group of MFS students, and I was proud of their  willingness to do the grunt work without complaining.  It was cold, and it wasn’t glamorous but it was necessary.” — Ms. Robinson

The Camden Children's Garden is a place where Korea can enjoy being outside with lots of spaces for pretend. It's a place where children make their own fun. Consider it for your next field trip. The staff includes lessons on gardening and sustainability. They also support 120 community gardens throughout the city.
