

We started off our day preparing and slicing various vegetables (tomatos, zucchini, eggplant, and yellow bell peppers) for our ratatouille! While half of us helped Madame Bonnemaiso cut and cook the ratatouille, others helped Li Lao Shi (Teacher Li) prepare chicken breast and wings for our Chinese sweet and sour chicken.
After we cooked all the chicken, we began to make our vanilla macarons! We split up into three groups in order to make three batches of our macarons. As each of us helped one another to try and perfect the batter, others prepared flowers to make lively center pieces for each table.
For our lunch, we all came together to enjoy the following: potato noodles, Chinese sweet and sour chicken, Chinese chicken wings, and ratatouille. We finished our meal with our macarons, and concluded our day playing some tennis outside.
