Day Three
Today was a really busy day! We helped the Restore at Habitat for Humanity move the rest of their furniture by loading trucks and putting porcelain products on palettes. We did a lot of heavy lifting. Loading the trucks was like playing Tetris – it took a lot of thinking to get all the pieces to fit into the truck. We also helped pack up their files in the offices and get all the boxes ready to be shipped to the new location. The warehouse looks so much more empty today than it did on Friday when we first got there. It took a lot of teamwork to get everything done, but we did a good job.
