Sewing Day Four: Sewing, Bocce, and Hoagies!!!

Our fourth day of sewing for babies was tons of fun and everyone was very productive! From pants to overalls, students enjoyed sewing all crafts and tasks they chose. Some embarked on new projects while others finished up any sewing tasks left undone on day three.

During lunch, we sat on the balcony and had a wonderful picnic consisting of delicious hoagies, kettle cooked chips, and water. At the table, we talked about our projects all while enjoying the nice spring breeze (which we could finally enjoy!)

After lunch, we took a nice break and played a bit of bocce. We played two rounds of five points each. Our first round victors were Katie and Ali and our second round winners were Siani and Han.

Following our fun bocce game, we proceeded to continue working on sewing for babies and sewed all the way ’til dismissal at 3. Mrs. Van Meter and Mrs. Thomson hung a clothes line near the window of the room to showcase all of our fantastic work. We are all proud and happy with the work we’ve completed and we’re excited to continue to do more tomorrow!
