Today, we finally returned to help rebuild the Habitat house in Riverside. Before we left, the group played games such as Jenga, chess, and Connect 4 while listening to older music (courtesy of Mr. Thompson and Mr. Newman!). When we arrived at the house, we cleared out all the supplies in order to lay down a protective covering for the floor. Throughout the day, some of us put down more flooring, some sanded the stairs, and others spackled the doorways, all the while learning many new skills. We had many music (old and new) discussions while we worked. Thanks to Ray and Justin for all their courtesy and patience with us!
