Day 3 of MFS Spanish Culture was a success! As a continuation of yesterday’s activities, we accompanied the bilingual kindergarten and first grade classes of Southwark School to Philadelphia’s Please Touch Museum.
The 10 of us divided into groups to guide the kids through the museum. The many exhibits provided them with opportunities to learn different skills.
All groups started out the museum tour by taking a ride on the indoor carousel.
After the carousel, all of the groups diverged. Some of the kids’ favorite activities were River Adventures, Roadside Attractions, Alice’s Wonderland, Space Station, City Capers, and the ability to play doctor at a model Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia.
Speaking Spanish to the kids and watching them have fun made today another fantastic one.
