Today, the DR homies had the best day so far! The crew went to a local orphanage called Orfanato Niños de Cristo where we met over thirty children ranging from ages 2-18 years old. Over scrimmage baseball, basketball, and dancing games, the crew was able to truly bond with the boys at the orphanage. We were also able to bring them different learning and coloring books, crayons, pencils and other materials they would need for the upcoming school year.

Initially, the crew was unsure of how the children would respond, but the boys responded with great hospitality and enthusiasm. Throughout the afternoon we were able to see how the orphanage runs on a daily basis (bedrooms, cafeteria, classrooms, etc.) and got a glance at the vibrant spirit of the children. Additionally, we learned that the orphanage was founded by renown Latino musical artists Marc Anthony and Romeo Santos while today still receiving funds from other famous actress and donors. Overall, our crew was overwhelmingly blessed to have spent time and create priceless memories with the boys at the orphanage while getting slightly awesome tans.
