Today we arrived at Newark International Airport; as of writing this we have not departed for our next destination, although the anticipation is high. The group is excited in their last minute frenetic preparations for this trip. Even as early into our adventure as we are, the group has already began bonding and connecting with each other.
So far, we’ve come together at MFS to prepare for a bus ride to the airport. We rode the bus for around an hour and arrived at the airport. The Newark Airport provided a wide variety of foods to suit everyone’s palette. Afterwards, we checked in with TSA and sat down in our gate waiting room. We’ve continued to patiently await our departure by participating in nice conversations and even card games.
The group is looking forward to all the sight-seeing and other activities we’ll be partaking in throughout the duration of our trip; brought together by that common interest, we’re able to make great connections and are already enjoying the trip.
