Today we spent the day at Ocean City, NJ. The weather was not ideal; however, we prepared and had back up clothing thanks to Mrs. Edmund’s winter clothes container. Originally, we planned to install our artwork and create projects for 4 hours but the weather cut that number in half. While baring the cold, we managed to create a variety of projects ranging from sand creations to installing totems. Some of the projects included a sand mermaid, installing a totem built from snack scraps, making sand Easter Island heads, and creating sand drawings with the hand-made rakes built the previous day. Although we were unable to stay much longer because of the cold, we as a group managed to create and install artistic projects.
