Over the course of this week, we learned how to look at things from a different perspective. Whether we were in the woods, city, or school, we were exploring the environment around us with a creative eye. We took pictures of the city, created pieces of art out of trash, tape, and spray paint and installed them in the woods, took photographs and made art on the beach, and created small pieces of artwork for the school. We made sculptures, paintings, chalk drawings, and even dresses!
Also getting to observe the artwork built by others was fun and interesting too. We had a really solid group of people- which made it fun to see their take on different artworks. Overall, I believe this Intensive Learning was enjoyed by everyone in our group, and I think each of us had a lot of fun exploring art in different perspectives. Everybody in the group had the chance to showcase their talent, demonstrating how much variety there is with different art forms. It was an eye opening experience that helped each of us open up in a new way.
