It’s been a long day for the Floridians, but it was all worth it to celebrate Mr. Cotter’s birthday. (#happybirthdayerick #fununcle) We arose before dawn and arrived at school around 6:15. We had a small hiccup at the airport when “Joe Nyzio” became “Joe Myzio.” With the help of Lu everything was fixed. While waiting to board we all flocked to Dunkin’ Donuts. Coffee and donuts in hand, we played card games, made friendship bracelets, and jammed.
On the plane we were blessed with screens, so we watched movies! We arrived, got ALL of our bags, and hopped into white vans. Thankfully Mr. Brunswick and Mr. Cotter are great drivers, and we got to Oak Plantation safely to check in and drop our bags off!
We then continued our journey to Chik-Fil-A for a quick lunch and then to Walmart to get groceries for our lunches. The girls made sure the boys bought some healthy snacks!!
We came back to the hotel and rested before the most epic, cool , exciting, riveting, fun, memorable night of our lives!!!! 😎😎
Two Words.
Medieval Times.
There were horses, knights, kings, princesses, huge pieces of chicken, yummy garlic bread, flags, french fries. We were on team red and yellow, but sadly our knight lost in the final joust. It was a hard-fought battle, but we remain loyal and proud of our fearless knight.
We fought for chivalry, glory, and honor.
Doz fell in love with the princess, Joe found out he was allergic to horses, and Mr. Brunswick loved his rally towels!!
We have had a blast so far and can’t wait for tomorrow when we will begin volunteering!!
