Today was our last proper day of the England & Ireland trip, and our first full day in London. We got up, had breakfast, and the hotel, and went on our way. We first stopped outside Buckingham Palace for photos and to watch the houses guards come down the street. Right after, we hopped on out bus for a tour around the city. We ended up seeing sights such as The London Eye, Tower Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, etc. When the bus tour ended, we had 2 hours of free time in London to eat and shop. Some of us went to a place called ‘Honest Burger’, and we highly recommend. Afterwards, we went to the famous British Museum, which had lots of exhibits from around the world. We then took a short walk to a fish & chips restaurant, where we had the classic English dish. We’re now settling into our hotel after taking the underground train and getting ready to come back to the states.
