Today was a fantastic day in Munich. We started off by visiting the BMW museum, where we saw some of the coolest cars we’ve ever seen. From classic models to modern sports cars to new electric vehicles, the museum had it all. It was a real treat for car enthusiasts like us.
After the BMW museum, we headed to the Olympic park, the site of the 1972 Olympic Games. We went up the television tower, which offered breathtaking views of the city. It was a bit scary being so high up, but the views were worth it.
Later in the day, we went on a walking tour with Michelo. He showed us around the city, including the interior of the town hall, and taught us about the Bavarian and Munich flags. It was fascinating to learn about the history behind these symbols and how they represent the local culture.
Before dinner, we used our free time to explore Munich on our own. Munich is filled with a plethora of shops and restaurants. At the market, we ate delicious food, called a doner kebab, which was like shawarma.
For dinner, we went to a restaurant and tried some traditional Bavarian cuisine. We got the chicken schnitzel, which was good, and berries and pudding for dessert.
Overall, it was an incredible day filled with fun activities, beautiful sights, and tasty food. We are so grateful to be able to experience all that Munich has to offer, and we are all not ready to leave tomorrow.
