We spent our day crafting colorful mosaic pieces in the art studio! We were able to choose from a variety of pieces to design, including, but not limited to: candle holders, small glass jars, and flower pots. In order to create such beautiful mosaic designs, we spent time selecting our own glass shards and tiles before arranging and attaching them to our pieces. Students got especially creative when designing their pieces and created unique patterns such as: majestic birds, blooming flowers, and abstract concepts. In preparation for Mother’s Day, which is swiftly approaching, many students decided to craft gifts for their beloved family members. We can’t wait to see what experiences the rest of the week will bring!
