Today in GYLI, our primary focus was religious plurality. We started off the day by practicing some yoga and stretches to warm up our bodies. We then discussed the multicultural identities of the students at MFS and demonstrated our thoughts and ideas onto puzzle pieces. We decorated the puzzle as well as observed and analyzed the finished product with satisfaction. We played various card games such as SPOONS and spent some time in the gym playing with the frisbee. To end the day, we talked about the role of religion and conflict in our school. We cannot wait to do service in Camden, tomorrow!
And around the outside, we made bread and soup and had a lovely lunch together.
