We woke up at the crack of dawn, packed up all of our things and ate breakfast with our host families. Our host mom made us sandwiches for the road. We bought some homemade crafts and T-shirts from one of the mothers. We packed up the bus and headed to the school to say our final goodbyes to all of our new friends. The children had prepared a goodbye song that they sang for us. After a few more heartfelt goodbyes we got on the bus and went on our way.
After leaving Coope San Juan we headed to the hot springs to relax after our previous days hard work. We enjoyed putting our feet in the hot springs and soaking up the sun. After what seemed like hours, we had a nice lunch at the resort. We hopped on the bus for what felt like six hours, but we eventually made it to the long awaited gift shop. After buying gifts for our families we hopped on the bus for the last time. We drove some more and finally arrived at the hotel. The first thing everyone did was connect to the wifi and check all social media. We spent our last few hours in Costa Rica relaxing and bonding at the pool. We ended the day with a nice meal together and prepared for a long travel day.
