We got off to an early start as we departed for the 1.5 hour commute to Blarney Castle. It was a beautiful day, and some people decided to traverse the narrow and winding staircase to the top of the castle and kiss the legendary Blarney Stone. Others chose to visit the sprawling grounds which provided plenty of opportunities for students to get exercise and see the poison gardens, Blarney House, and animals ranging from cows to horses. We left Blarney Castle after lunch and a bit of shopping. After a 3.5 hour bus ride we arrived in Dublin ready for another evening of fun festivities. We said goodbye to our dearest bus driver Noel and were treated to a meal at Oscar’s Cafe at Christchurch. After dinner we took an interesting and entertaining walk through Dublin back to our hotel for a good night’s rest.
