We started the day off waking up extra early to ensure that we would be ready for the breakfast shift at Give Kids The World. This was our last shift at GKTW and it felt good to see that our hard work helped so many families. Furthermore, during this time we got to see a lot of the families we met on our first day of service at GKTW. Afterwards, we promptly headed over to Second Harvest Food Bank. This was our first time at the food bank, and it resulted in a new enriching experience. Our job was to make meals for families in need. We made 8,480 meals exceeding the food bank’s goal for that shift. Although we only spent three hours at the food bank we were trained quickly and did our job well and efficiently. After the food bank we went back to the condo where spent a hour resting and getting ready for Disney Springs. We all had a great time at Disney Springs and the experience acted as a precursor for tomorrow’s trip to Magic Kingdom. We shopped, dined, and had lots of fun ending in a beautiful night where we listened to live music and bowled.
