For the first day of IL, we started by making zipper bags that mothers can put toiletries in. We used a lot of different fancy fabrics to make these small bags. After finishing this project, everyone seemed to be familiar with their sewing skills and started their independent projects for babies: jumpers, blankets, bibs, etc. Despite some malfunctions with the sewing machines, we still got a lot of work done today!
