Today we began our journey at 8 AM after a breakfast of croissants and whatever we could grab at the convenience store. A quick stop for gas led to a three-hour drive to Haworth, which is in the Yorkshire region of England. Along the way we were introduced to the Brontë sisters and the Wars of the Roses, which was a medieval conflict between House of Lancaster and the House of York; this helped us understand some historical context for the region. Upon arriving in Haworth we met with a local Quaker. He told us the story of the Brontë family and gave us a tour of where they spent a majority of their lives. We visited the path that they used to walk on, and we saw their house and the school their dad had built. From there we went to Yorkshire, where we got to shop for an hour before heading to the hotel for dinner. Tomorrow will be our last day, and it will be spent in Manchester.
