Today we continued to work on our diverse projects. We used many varieties of colored fabrics to create all different kinds of clothing, including: dresses, bibs, pants, buntings, sleep-sacks and hats. We were encouraged to start new quilts today as well. The quilts we produced are useful for babies and first time mothers because they provide a safe space for the children to have tummy time. We were granted with the privilege of being visited by returning faculty members who were eager to check out our progress and to explore our projects. After learning the importance behind what we are sewing, our Intensive Learning group was very thankful to receive the opportunity to help people in need. Sewing is a useful life skill and definitely something we will take away from this experience.
