Today we woke up in a new hotel in Flagstaff, Arizona. After breakfast we boarded the bus for an hour and a half journey to the Grand Canyon National Park. While on the way, we stopped by the Cameron Trading Post, which sold a plethora of interesting gifts ranging from Route 66, Native American culture in the area, and the Grand Canyon.
When we finally reached the east entrance of the park, we visited the Desert View Watch Tower, which offered a great view of the Colorado River running through the Grand Canyon. After eating lunch on the bus with the Grand Canyon to our right, we separated into two groups for our tours of the Grand Canyon. One group hiked around the rim of the Canyon, getting to see many amazing sights from different angles as the hike went on. The other group walked down through the canyon, an exhausting but worthwhile hike for the views at Ooh Aah Point.
