Our IL group spent the day getting familiar with the basics of sewing – patterns, pins, and sewing machines. We started our day off with the initial stages of bib-making. This included cutting the pattern and sewing our first stitches around the neck. After a quick snack, we dove right into sewing the rim around the rest of the bib to seal it shut. By the end of the day, our whole group had finished our bibs, and some had started on more advanced projects, such as sundresses, t-shirts, hats, blankets, and buntings.
Our IL group had a great start to the week. We bonded together and learned fun new skills. We had a great time today and we can’t wait for the rest of the week!
