Today we started by working the breakfast shift in Cafe Clayton at Give Kids the World. We have this shift everyday, so it went pretty smoothly since we knew what to expect. We then went to Disney Springs for lunch and shopping after volunteering. After a few hours of walking, we went back to our condos to relax before our night shift.
Tonight was the first night we were all split up at different attractions. Some of us worked in the cafe delivering pizza, others worked rides at Amberville and the Carousel, and some worked with families in the Castle of Dreams. The main event of the night was the Big Splash Bash, which was held in the pool area. This event was a time for the volunteers to play games with the kids and connect with them. We spent time playing hopscotch, drawing with chalk, and hula hooping. It was a late night for us. Tomorrow night we are all working the Halloween Extravaganza which should be very exciting.
