It’s the third day of our trip and we’re still going strong! This morning, we played games such as tennis, basketball, and football in the pool underneath the warm Florida sun. After a morning of relaxation, we headed over to Give Kids The World for another day of service!
Helping with drinks and doing the dishes. Great shift with the whole crew! #MFSIL pic.twitter.com/JihzL7JYgV

We all worked in Nancy’s Kitchen this evening. We helped serve meals, clean dishes, serve drinks, bus tables, and carry trays for the kids and their families!! There were multiple stations such as the salad bar, pizza, and two hot food stations. The dining room also has something called the Chew Chew station which is a cart of an assortment of pickles. When kids go through treatment, they sometimes lose their sense of taste and pickles help them regain that.
Overall it was a great experience. We made friends with plenty of other volunteers and got to see a lot of adorable kids. Those of us on the hot food line worked with older women who kept us entertained the entire time and were very sweet! Today we served up some great tennis, delicious food, and friendly smiles!!
