Today we woke up bright and early. We hopped on the Metro, ready for an amazing full-day Paris experience. First, we went to the Louvre and before going in, we saw a wedding and got to take a picture with the bride and groom! Inside the museum, we saw many amazing pieces, including the iconic Mona Lisa and the Last Supper. After, we ate lunch in the Tuileries Gardens and we enjoyed some “croc monsieur” (French ham and cheese sandwich).
The afternoon started with a Metro trip to the Eiffel tower. We climbed to the top to admire the breathtaking views of Paris. We saw many interesting sites while at the top including the Seine River, Champs de Mars walkway, and even a soccer field!
After taking an elevator down to the bottom of the tower, we started the trek to our next restaurant. After an amazing dinner, we explored more of Paris. Some of us went shopping, others grabbed dessert, but all of us enjoyed the sights and sounds of the City of Lights.
