Today was our first day at Pendle Hill. We started by meeting our awesome yoga instructor, Alex, and then practiced our first (very intense) yoga session. After a nutritious lunch, we traveled to Wissahickon Valley Park to experience nature through a very mountainous hike. We picked up some stones to create intention stones later this week. We learned about different rocks and gems thanks to Ms. Edmund. Once we traveled back and washed up, we enjoyed a very fun and exciting acrobatic partner yoga session (see the pictures in the gallery!). Next, we had a meatless but delicious dinner before ending the day with a session of yin yoga. We’re all really relaxed now and ready for tomorrow’s adventures.
